General Tao’s Back Room
General Tao’s = a treat that fills you up, but may leave you hungry again in an hour.
Chaotic Classroom
Great room for younger teams, though our group of grown up kids also had a fabulous time
Bank Heist
This room is not for beginners, however experienced teams will find it challenging and enjoy several memorable moments and a stellar final puzzle. The space is small, so we recommend keeping teams to 4-6 players.
Civil War
Civil War is by far the KC team’s highest-rated room. You may find rooms that are better in one area or another, but everything considered, Breakout hit the mark perfectly with this one.
Y2K
If you go to Breakout Lawrence… and you feel like doing more than one room, do Y2K first, because it will be put a smile on your face and prepare you for a greater challenge later (see the review of Civil War).
Rules of Basketball
A beautifully designed and decorated basketball museum. The look and feel of the room are tremendous; it truly feels like you are in a hall of fame.
Lost in Time
Lost in Time is a fantastic room to start, especially if the time travel theme intrigues you!
Sorcerer’s Secret
Sorcerer’s Secret’s puzzles engaged the whole team; each player contributed to our success. Plus, the decor and props were interesting and set a magical mood.
Pyramid Paradox
Pyramid Paradox is a technician’s delight. The lights, music, and special effects create a Hollywood-like experience.
