Services & Policy

Esc Room Addict provides two distinct services:

Escape Room Reviews – ERA reviews are a free service* and are provided by invitation only** to the client. The client may be company owners, managers, or designers. Each ERA review team is specifically formed to provide a variety of experience levels and perspective. All ERA review teams contain at least two ERA members to provide guidance, rapport, and consistency. All ERA review teams are required to follow a standardized review process ensuring both consistency and accuracy. ERA is dedicated to its mission statement of providing honest and ethical reviews and therefore will not allow any form of coercive, abusive, or otherwise influential behaviour to impact the final result of any ERA review. ERA reserves the right to document and disclose any form of abuse towards its members or affiliates.

Room Consultation and Analysis – ERA consultations are a paid service* and occur through invitation by the client. All consultation fees are arranged in advance. Each ERA consultation team is specifically formed to provide a wide range of experience and perspective. All ERA consultation teams contain at least two ERA members to provide guidance, rapport, and consistency. All ERA consultation teams are required to follow a standardized consultation process ensuring consistency and accuracy. An ERA analysis report is provided for the client following the initial meeting, and is intentionally designed to provide the best options available to help the client achieve their company objectives.

* In cases where the ERA team incurs significant out-of-pocket travel expenses, a small fee may apply and will be disclosed in advance. ERA will make every attempt to offset this cost by scheduling multiple companies within a given area for reviews and/or consulting.

** In rare circumstances reviews may be published when an invitation has not been extended. This will only happen when one of two circumstances apply: First, ERA has not received a response after multiple attempts to contact a particular owner/staff/designer. Second, a previous review was written independently by a reviewer who later joined the ERA team and added their review to ERA’s catalogue of reviews. In cases of the latter, reviews must be agreed upon by fellow members of the ERA team.
