This was my second room of the day at 5-Wits. If you haven’t already done so, check out my Tomb review to get more information about 5-Wits and my experience as a whole.

It seemed inevitable that Espionage was bound to be a disappointment after Tomb. In order for Espionage to surpass the experience I just had, they would’ve needed James Bond (Sean Connery of course) to appear and do the room with me! So yes there were some let downs and frustrating parts but not because of the room. The reason for the let down was because we really needed a team of 4 to effectively complete everything in time, but we only had 3 which made the tasks very difficult.

This room somehow matched the 5-Wits standard in terms of room quality, immersion, and the pre-room experience! The story was engaging and you might even start to believe you’ve been hired as an CSIS, CIA or MI6 agent! The puzzles as mentioned need 4 team members who can work cooperatively because the tasks and puzzles require a great deal of coordination with a limited amount of time. Aside from that, there’s nothing that can be said about this room that isn’t truly amazing! Again, if you haven’t already planned your trip, make sure you take a couple days and head down to 5-Wits in Syracuse! You won’t be sorry.
