Bottom line – don’t go here. This “escape room” is in a birthday room with posters randomly pasted on the wall. The staff were friendly, but the lobby shares a lobby with laser quest and can be quite hectic. When we entered the room there were two tables with 6 lock boxes, some posters, and some cheap halloween props. The puzzles were terrible, we didn’t know what to do, and we had no idea what puzzles even correlated with which lock boxes. We had to ask for hints for every lock box. It was so confusing and so so bad. The price of admission is cheap, BUT you don’t even get what you pay for. I wish I had just gone to laser tag instead. ☹️
I should mention this is a chain, so I would be wary of all Key Quest locations, as many of them have the same “theme”.
Final Verdict: | 2.5/10 |
Completely agree with the first comment. Terrible experience.
It wasn’t good at all. We have a terrible(2x) experience ! Laser tag was more fun
This “escape room sucks”! If you want a good escape room, go to casa loma. We had a horrible ecsperience at he laser quest escape room and would never go again, it was a waste of time and money
Horrible don’t waste your money! You are in the dark feeling around the whole time looking for clues that make no sense. We opened the boxes without getting the codes & we still didn’t get it.
Agree agree agree…horrible escape room. All “clues” were random and made no logical sense. Nothing connected. It was a cheap room with no set design and half the locks that we were supposed to open were already unlocked…and it still made zero sense. Do not go here.
I would disagree with the past reviews. I have had a chance to do two of their experiences and found them challenging but not impossible to escape. The customer service their was excellent(Been to others who don’t really know what they are doing). Adventure Rooms is the best in the city, but if you want to try out the escape room concept, the price point is perfect.
