CluedIn is located in a beautiful facility in the Chicago suburb of Glen Ellyn. The owner, Brian, is incredibly personable and we could not say enough positive things about him! There are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is great because—let’s face it—we all work up an appetite when we’re doing escape rooms!  The lobby is welcoming with puzzles and comfy chairs, however larger groups might find that there is not enough room for their party to sit and relax before their room.

Game Master begins with a short introductory video that really sets the stage for your adventure. As board game and video game enthusiasts some of our team were instantly hooked into this room. The variety of games and game memorabilia that were in this room was astonishing and very exciting! We could really see the effort that Brian put in to making this room—the games are not played how you would expect!

The puzzles were plenty and had good variety—there was definitely something for everyone to do. We would suggest bringing at least 4 people to this room, if only due to the sheer number of puzzles and clues to solve. The sound effects and ambiance were wonderful from beginning to end.

We loved this room and we think it would be great especially for board and video game fans! While we managed to complete our mission, we could see this room being a bit challenging for smaller groups or newer players. Overall, we had a blast!
