Twisted Limits is located about 60 miles northwest of Chicago.  This location offers a phenomenal party room with billiards, bags, indoor basketball, and TVs showing an escape-room themed television series.  While they didn’t have ice cream (not that we would ever expect that), they had plenty of complimentary snacks and beverages for everyone to enjoy!  We were very impressed by this facility!

Our adventure began with a short briefing by the owner, followed by a video to help us feel immersed.  The video was well-done and really made us feel like part of the story, we couldn’t wait to get started!  As we entered the “Governor’s office” we quickly got lost in the theme and were excited to complete our mission.  The room felt authentic and we appreciated the owners’ attention to detail throughout.  With that being said, there was some wear and tear throughout the room (escapers, please be kind to the rooms).  One of our favorite parts of Executive Disorder was the clue system—it was easy, direct, and really fit the theme.

Throughout the room, we were surprised and excited by the variety of tasks and puzzles we encountered (mathematical, logical, physical, visual, etc.), however, there was one puzzle that went against typical escape-room rules, so don’t get stuck on that!

Let’s cut to the chase…was it a fun room?  Yes! We suggest wearing comfy clothes, and allowing yourself to be immersed in this surprising, well put-together, fun-filled room!  We all left excited and energized, and we couldn’t wait to talk to one another about of favorite parts!  We also loved that the owners knew how to have fun with their customers—something we appreciate!
