The Chicago team took a road trip up to Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, near Milwaukee. The location was easy to find, had shops and restaurants nearby, and there was ample parking. The lobby had plenty of comfortable couches, brain teasers, and games to play with while we waited. In addition, they had refreshments for sale, multiple bathrooms, a party room, and incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. The briefing was done by the game master in the hallway outside of the room or the party room, depending on space.

Zombie Kitchen was a family-friendly take on zombies and culinary arts. This was an especially fun room for us having an actual chef as one of our members—don’t worry, culinary skills are not required. The set was authentic and fit the theme well, nothing felt out of place. We especially loved the surprise toward the end of the room—we’d never seen this before and we loved it!!

In this room, there was something for everyone to do, a variety of searching and solving, and some puzzles that were more challenging than others. No matter what your strength, there will be a puzzle for you! We loved the sound effects that continued to keep us immersed as we played the room.

So was it fun? If you couldn’t tell, we highly recommend Zombie Kitchen! It was a fun, easy-to-follow room that still had challenges throughout. We think this would be good for new and experienced players, adults and kids—everyone. We laughed and danced throughout the room, and we hope you will too!

Final Verdict:
