We were very fortunate to review one of the busiest escape rooms in Orlando, The Escape Game. While a chain of escape rooms, they really put some TLC into everything they do. Our team really enjoyed our time in the Prison Break room.
Getting there, it’s on one of Orlando’s busiest streets so give yourself some time to get there, but it was easy to find with great signage. Walking in, the team behind the desk was warm and friendly. Plenty of seating throughout the lobby but that’s all they had. No snacks or drinks to buy , but they did have a water fountain and a bathroom right there to use before you go into your room. They also had t-shirts and their own board game for purchase.
The room quality was fantastic. We felt we were really in a prison!! The other rooms felt immersive as well. The quality was not lacking and everything was very authentic. While some parts had some hot glue showing, and the final room did not look like the one in the opening video, our team were really nit-picking to find anything wrong with the immersion part of grading the room.
The puzzles were another high point in this room as well. We loved the teamwork aspect that was really part of the whole room wherever you were. We loved one of the puzzles that made our whole team smile and go “wow” because it never crossed our minds that a company would do something so immersive. Some puzzles were not the most challenging, but we loved the linear way it worked together. There was a little malfunction in one of our games, but our game master helped and we were back on track in no time. Our team really enjoyed the game as whole, and wanted to do another one right away. This room is perfect for team building and larger groups.
